At first I was gathering postings on Craigslist's missed connections (which struck me as being so raw and intimate yet anonymous and aimed at no-one) and making video re-enactment's of them (that reminded me of youtube vlogs in which people seem to perform their confessions to an absent audience.) Those video studies were so sweet and touching...I felt like they were somehow really really helpful...but to who? to the person who posted the craigslist text?

I guess I started thinking about my own alienation...the distance between me and the people that are posting.
So the idea I have now, is to make a site in which I offer my help. (potential title: iwanttohelpyou.com , iwanttomakeusclose.com ?) and when people answer (by entering intimate requests for help) I reply with either a video, a gif or a Jpg.

It's kind of absurd because I can't really help them. We are all trapped on the other side of the monitor. My gestures stay limited to the internet...

Anyway, this is where I am starting.
