dis-connect-ed
i fucking miss u soo much
What if a collective myspace profile reached out, making friends with people inviting them to join the collective story. Like the exquisite corpse (dada) profile it builds on the story of each person and how it blends with the story of others.
Once on the site "dis-connect-ed" or "ifuckingmissusomuch" there are 2 options: either to submit text or to upload a visual response to one of the texts already on the site.
Little floating windows of text carry the small and heartfelt submissions by anyone (no password required). The floating windows mimic a cloud.
the visual responses can only be either gifs, jpgs or mov so they imply a creative response on the part of the participant.
the responses can be re-inactments of the text, drawings, animated gifs...
pbls I have so far with my project:
> technical...know-how?
> is it really participatory?
> is there a way to incorporate a public intervention
> can it be stronger?smarter?
> what makes it different?
> umm is this interesting?
> title? good?
> how this can reach outward ... Katie? rss feed? advertising on myspace?
